Police Jurors from District 9 announces bid for re-election

Sitting Evangeline Parish Police Juror for District 9, Daniel Arvie, announced his candidacy for re-election.
“I, Daniel Arvie, am pleased to announce my candidacy for re-election for a seat on the police jury from District 9,” Arvie said in his announcement. “I am married to Rita Stagg Arvie. We are the proud parents of three children, Natalie, Nathaniel, and DJ. We have two grandsons. I have been a police juror for four years. I am currently the chairman of the Ambulance Committee; and I serve on the Equipment Committee, Finance Committee, Personnel Committee, Building Committee, Drainage Committee, Sewer Committee, and Animal Control Committee.”
Arvie’s announcement continued as follows: “I am a 1982 graduate of Ville Platte High School. I have been a public servant for Evangeline Parish for many years. I am chairman of the board for the Ville Platte Housing Authority.”
“I have worked very hard these past four years and will continue to work hard to serve you the next four years.”
“I am asking for your continued support on October 12, 2019, as your District 9 police juror.”
