For the first time in its 167-year history, Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church in Ville Platte now has a permanent sign on the church grounds. Resting on top of the sign is a statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The sign was blessed on the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart which fell on Friday, June 11. Pictured is the church’s pastor Fr.
