VP Girls-Boys Place begins Monday

The Ville Platte Girls-Boys Place Summer Program begins June 6 and runs through July 22. It is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Registration is on site with an adult or guardian required: must have a copy of birth certificate or school demographic for proof of age and residency. Late registration will not be accepted.
Registration includes: Cooking Academy (with uniforms), field trip, computer skills, golfing skills, fishing skills, gardening skills, cooking (sauce picante) demonstrations, car detailing, dress for success, So You Want to Be An Astronaut, health education, board games, ping pong, dominoes, air hockey, dance, and fitness. Life skills concentrating on business etiquette, social and personal skills, goalsetting, time management, money management, grooming, and other aspects of the world of work will be included.
