TC mayor race ends in a tie

By: TONY MARKS Editor This year’s election cycle will continue two weeks into 2023 as the runoff election, held Saturday, December 10, for mayor of Turkey Creek ended in a tie. Both candidates Bert K. Campbell and Victoria “Vicki” Chaddrick received 109 votes. In early voting, though, Chaddrick led with 31 votes to Campbell’s 23. It was a margin of 57% to 43%.
