Soileau and Miller are named Ville Platte Rotarians of the Year

Dr. Hosea “Joey” Soileau, right with outgoing Rotary President Jimmy LeBlanc, and Kermit Miller (inset photo) were selected as Rotarians of the Year by their fellow members of the Ville Platte Rotary Club during Tuesday evening’s annual installation banquet. LeBlanc noted, “I can’t say enough about them, and we couldn’t decide on one. They are both invaluable to the club, and we could not run the club without them.” A humbled Dr. Soileau stated, “I am just overwhelmed and I thank y’all very much.” See story and more scenes from the event on Page 5.
