Ville Platte Mayor Jennifer Vidrine is happy to announce that sandbags or available for individuals who are capable of filling bags themselves at The Girls and Boys Place located at 220 S. Thompson St. Also, for the elderly, if you go to the City Barn at 809 W. Hickory Street, someone will be there to load sandbags in your vehicle until 5:00 PM, weather permitting.
