During a special meeting held at 12 noon on Friday, January 7, Judge John Larry Vidrine swore Christina Sam in as the newest member of the Ville Platte City Council. Sam is filling the vacancy left by the death of her husband and District E council member Donald Sam. She is looking forward to working with the community and continuing the work she performed by her husband’s side.
