Rollins is sentenced

On Friday, February 25, Nicholas Rollins pled guilty to one count of aggravated assault with a firearm in the matter of State of LA v. Nicholas Rollins. He was sentenced to nine years at hard labor. The sentence required Rollins to admit to his use of a firearm when he threatened his former girlfriend during a domestic violence disturbance.
Rollins was also sentenced to five years at hard labor for his conviction of kidnapping, three years for domestic abuse battery with child endangerment,, and six months in jail for simple battery.
The District Attorney will continue to seek justice on behalf of domestic abuse survivors.
