Original school bell returns to PPHS campus

When this part of Louisiana was still in St. Landry Parish, a 5 mill bond issue was passed in 1908 for the construction of a new school building in Pine Prairie. Several years later, in 1922, the school printed a yearbook called The Prairie Dog. In it is the following description of Pine Prairie:
