A tribute parade for J.C. Ceaser will be held Friday, November 12. Lineup will be at Mikey’s Donuts at 5:30 p.m., and the parade will begin at 6 p.m. The parade will end at The Bulldog on Main Street.
J.C. Ceaser, the third of five children, was born on November 12, 1974 in Ville Platte. He was the loving father of Trevon Ceaser (Cierra) of Baton Rouge. On April 20, 2001, he married the former Celena Jenkins, thus bringing together and forging a new and loving family. God blessed this marriage with three chiLdren: Nnandi Ceaser (Derwinisha) of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Nadia Ceaser and Nyla Ceaser, both of Baton Rouge.
He attended Ville Platte High School, where he excelled in academics and music. He joined the Air Force at the young age of 18 where he traveled the world such as Japan, Korea, and France. He matriculated at University of Maryland University College, where he received a bachelor of science degree. He also received a masters of business administration from William Carey College as well as a masters of sustainable real estate development from Tulane University.
He started many businesses in the local community of Ville Platte and was determined to absolve the area of blighted properties. He focused on his community by opening Bulldog Premium Sports Lounge that catapulted him to other start-ups. He established a construction and real estate development firm in Baton Rouge that constructed multifamily and single family housing all across the state of Louisiana. He was very proud of his first federal contract with the US Marshal’s Service where his company rebuilt an airship in Pollock.
Quietly, on Wednesday afternoon, April 7, 2021, at 4:45 p.m., Almighty God dispacted His angel to Jc’s bedside and summoned him to come home and rest.
