Six board members, who combined to serve for a century and a quarter, were recognized during their final meeting of the Evangeline Parish School Board on Monday, December 19.
Georgianna Wilson, who represents District 13, has been serving for the past 18 years. She was defeated in the November election by challenger Donald Anderson, who received 55% of the votes.
