Good morning Parents & Guardians:
This morning (8-28-2023), our school district, along with several others throughout the state, received an email message saying that pipe bombs have been planted on every campus and will be going off soon. We immediately reported it to law-enforcement and began following our normal evacuation procedures.
Shortly thereafter, our local Sheriff’s Office instructed us to place all campuses on a level one lockdown, based upon preliminary information from his investigative findings.
The Sheriff also plans to send bomb sniffing dogs to all campuses.
The safety of our students and employees continues to be our top priority.
