Mamou tax renewal, amendments fail

Voters in the Town of Mamou rejected a 12.45 mill renewal when they cast their votes in the election held Saturday, November 13. Seventy-one voters (51%) chose not to renew the proposition, while 68 voters (49%) chose in the affirmative. Unofficial turnout, according to the secretary of state, was 6.8%.
