Local artist donates series of Mardi Gras prints to Town of Mamou
SERIES OF PAINTINGS DONATED - Mamou native and retired colonel with the U.S. Marine Corps Jonathan Neal (J.N.) Vizina, recently donated a series of seven Mardi Gras-themed watercolor prints to be displayed at Mamou Town Hall. Col. Jonathan Neal (J.N.) Vizina and his wife grew up in Mamou and both attended and graduated from USL in 1974. Vizina’s first published work was during his freshman year at USL.
