Father Gregory Downs, of St. Peter Catholic Church in Pine Prairie and St. Theresa Catholic Church in St. Landry, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, the Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord. He died at St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria at the age of 63.
