The Evangeline Parish Police Jury has announced that its offices will be closed again on Thursday , January 23, 2025 out of safety concerns for its staff and the public at large. Parish President Kevin Veillon reiterated: “Our pubic works crews will be available to respond to hazardous situations. We wish to urge everyone to continue to avoid travel to the extent possible until conditions improve. Given the current forecasts, our offices and public works crews should be up and running Friday.” Veillon again thanked the public for their cooperation.
