The Evangeline Parish Police Jury has announced that its offices will be closed on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 out of safety concerns for its staff and the public at large. Parish President Kevin Veillon issued the following remarks: “Our pubic works crews will be available to respond to hazardous situations. We wish to urge everyone to avoid travel to the extent possible. We will examine conditions again tomorrow and make a determination regarding expected developments for Thursday.”
