By: TONY MARKS Editor Phillip Cavins, who did not seek re-election last year as mayor of Turkey Creek, presided over his final meeting on Tuesday, January 17. Cavins will continue to serve as mayor until Bert Keith Campbell is sworn on Tuesday, January 24. Mayor Cavins thanked everyone in the village for allowing him to serve over the past term. “It has definitely been a journey,” he expressed. …
