Shirlene O’Connor announced her candidacy for Ville Platte City Council, District C, for the upcoming November election.
A life-long resident of Ville Platte, O’Connor served as a nurse for 30 years, a medical secretary in coding and billing, and worked in office management. She has worked for Dr. Charles Fontenot, Dr. Tommy Fontenot, Dr. Chuck Aswell, and Dr. Rosemarie Callier.
