A mural representing the “Thrilla in the Villa” was dedicated at a ceremony held on Tuesday, October 5. The Tee Cotton Bowl mural was made possible from a grant received by AARP. Applying for the grant was Dr. Gwen Fontenot, president of the Evangeline Chamber of Commerce and board member of the Acosta Foundation. “AARP appreciated what this mural and what this game stands for,” Dr. Fontenot said…
