The 37th annual Boggy Bayou Youth Pageant was held Saturday, April 30, at a festive venue belonging to Derrick and Leila Thrasher north of Pine Prairie. Winners and runners-up were announced as follows:
Baby Miss: Halle Chaddrick, the 11-month-old daughter of Nick and Carly Chaddrick of Ville Platte, was crowned Baby Miss Boggy Bayou. Rounding out the court were Oaklee Ann Beckham-Smith, first alternate; and Leacy Mae Terro, second alternate.
Baby Mister: Tucker Chaddrick, the 12-month-old son of Payton and Jessica Chaddrick of Glenmora, was named Baby Mister Boggy Bayou. Korbyn Johnson was named first alternate; and James Brixton Fontenot was named second alternate to the new Baby Mister king.
Toddler Miss: Londyn Montgomery, the 16-month-old daughter of Jalan and Trenadi Montgomery of(Abbeville, was chosen as Toddler Miss Boggy Bayou. Her court was completed with Vivienne Jane Brown, first alternate; and Jolie Herboldsheimer, second alternate.
Toddler Mister: Noah Doga, the three-year-old son of Matthew and Tasha Doga of Pine Prairie, was selected as Toddler Mister Boggy Bayou. Declan Snoddy, first alternate; and Noah Soileau, second alternate, were selected as members of the king’s court.
Mini Miss: Sophia Olivier, the two-year-old daughter of Patrick and Courtney Olivier of Pitkin, was named Mini Miss Boggy Bayou. Ella Grace McDaniel, first alternate; and Demi Herborsheimer, second alternate, were named to the queen’s court.
Tiny Miss: Rosalie Thibodeaux, the four-year-old daughter of Trey and Whittney Thibodeaux of Sulphur, captured the title of Tiny Miss Boggy Bayou, with Aviana McLeod, first alternate; and Kailum Lynn Rodriguez, second alternate, rounding out her court.
Petite Miss: Brinley Grace Broussard, the six-year-old daughter of Skyler and Alicia Brousard of Lake Arthur, was chosen as Petite Miss Boggy Bayou. Her court consisted of Madlee Rae Wellman, first alternate; and Carmynn “Abby” Levine, second alternate.
Little Miss: Makinley Gabrielle Cormier, the eight-year-old daughter of Joshua and Sierra Cormier of Cankton, was selected as Little Miss Boggy Bayou. Lyla Cormier, first alternate; and Preslie Harrington, second alternate, were also members of the queen’s court.
Deb Miss: BreAnn Jill Morales, the 11-year-old daughter of Brent and Amanda Morales of Cameron, captured the Deb Miss Boggy Bayou title. Also serving as members of the Deb Miss Boggy Bayou court were Layla Faith Mulligan, first alternate; and Karoline Thibodeaux, second alternate.
Junior Miss: Madison Lange, the 13-year-old daughter of Casey and Candi Lange of Abbeville, was crowned Junior Miss Boggy Bayou. Rounding out her court were Cheyanne Messer, first alternate; and Graceanne Klair Luna, second alternate.
