Seth Norris, CPA, a native and resident of Ville Platte, was named Chair of the Society of Louisiana CPAs (LCPA). Mr. Norris is the CFO of Cottonport Bank.
An LCPA board member since 2017, Mr. Norris becomes the youngest Chair in the association's 111-year history. He also is a Past President of LCPA's Acadiana Chapter.
Within his community, he currently serves as Treasurer for the Knights of Columbus Council #1754, Treasurer of the Evangeline Parish Chamber of Commerce, and as a member of the Sacred Heart School Foundation.
Norris graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting (2008). He also is an alumnus of the Graduate School of Banking at LSU.
He is married to Jessica Norris, and together have five children: Genevieve, Seth Jr., Brian, Mary Catherine, and Jude.
LCPA (lcpa.org) serves more than 6,000 current and future CPAs statewide. It is the premier organization of accountants in the state.
