The Tri-Parish workforce totaled 67,083 in January, down 386 or 0.6% from January 2022, according to statistics released Monday by Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
The workforce includes those working and looking for a job. The statistics are not seasonally adjusted.
January workforce counts by parish are:
— St. Landry, 31,455, up 448 or 1.4% from January 2022’s 31,903.
