Early voting continues

As of Wednesday morning, 334 parish residents voted early for the December 10 election. Early voting continues at the Registrar of Voters Office until Saturday, December 3, from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.
The deadline to request an absentee ballot is Dec. 6 by 4:30 p.m (other than military and overseas voters). You can request an absentee ballot online through our Voter Portal or in writing through your Registrar of Voters Office.
The deadline for a registrar of voters to receive a voted absentee ballot is Dec. 9 by 4:30 p.m. (other than military and overseas voters).
On Election Day, polls parishwide will open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
