Boggy Bayou Festival Youth Pageant is set

Boggy Bayou Youth Pageant will be held Saturday, April 29, in the Pine Prairie High School Gym. Doors will open at 8 a.m. Pageant begins promptly at 1 p.m. Deadline to enter: April 23. Admission is $5.00 Everyone pays except the contestant. Children 4 and under are free.
Dress Attire: ages 0-8 years: Sunday Best, please no sandals
Dress Attire: ages 9 years and up: Formal wear **Any color floor length gown. **
Entry Fee Baby Miss through Little Miss: $55.00 includes all side awards. Sibling Discount: Two or more children in the same household $55.00 entry fee for the first child and $5.00 discount for each additional child.
Awards: All age divisions will have a queen/king and first runner- up. If there are four or more in an age division, a second runner-up will be added. Queen will receive a custom Boggy Bayou Festival 6-inch crown and a monogrammed play banner. Alternates will receive a nice trophy.
Side Awards Baby Miss through Little Miss: Photogenic, Best Fashion, Prettiest Eyes, Prettiest Hair
Director’s Choice: Impress the director with your overall pageant appearance! She will go by each age division. All awards will be a nice trophy.
New award for 2023: This year we will have a Peoples Choice award. You may purchase votes for $1.00 for your favorite contestant. The contestant receiving the most votes will receive a surprise gift.
Age Divisions and Registration Time
Registration: Begins at 8:30 a.m. all age divisions have to be registered by noon.
Pageant will begin at 1 p.m.
Baby Miss 0-12 months
Baby Mister 0-12 months
Toddler Miss 13 months - 23 months
Toddler Mister 13 months - 3 years
Mini Miss 2 years
Tiny Miss 3-4 years
Petite Miss 5-6 years
Little Miss 7-8 years
All queens/kings are required to stay until the end of the pageant for a group picture and must also take an official picture with the photographer. All newly crowned royalty are invited to attend the evening pageant and be recognized.

Poor sportsmanship will not be tolerated! All decisions are final and anyone showing poor sportsmanship will be asked to leave with no refund!
