On Saturday, October 4, the 17th annual Savoy Cancer Center Walk was held. A great crowd turnout helped to support the Savoy Indigent Patient Support (SIPS) Foundation which supports local cancer patients. In a social media post, Savoy Medical Center stated, “A huge thank you to everyone who came out today for the 17th Annual Savoy Breast Cancer Awareness Walk! The weather was perfect, and we were blessed with so many attendees!” In the above photo, several survivors led the walk as the crowd fell in behind them. See more photos from the event on Page 8.
