The 16th Annual Savoy Breast Cancer Awareness Walk was held on Saturday, October 19, with the renewed hope of increasing awareness, fostering community support, and raising money to make a difference for local individuals fighting cancer. It is the hospital’s most popular event with 500 participants each year. Pictured in each of the above photographs are cancer survivors and patients, along with their loved ones, as they kick off of the walk from the parking lot of Savoy Medical Center in Mamou.
