MRMC strives to provide high quality care for our patients, visitors, employees, and community. In response
to the increase of COVID 19 cases in our facility and community, we announce an updated restricted visitor
policy effective: July 30, 2021.
Our visitation policy, while following CDC guidelines related to COVID are:
 Non-COVID Patients:
o Emergency Room – 1 unique visitor per patient
o Inpatients – 1 unique visitor per patient
o Pediatric Patients- 2 parents/guardians per patient (Can only trade out between the 2
parents/guardians)
o ICU – 1 unique visitor per patient from 4-6 pm
o Rehab – 1 unique visitor per patient from 4-6 pm
o Outpatients – 1 unique visitor per patient
o Freedom Behavioral Unit – no visitors at this time.
 COVID + Patients:
No visitors allowed for known or suspected COVID positive patients, except:
o Pediatric Patients- 2 healthy parents/guardians per patient (Can only trade out between the 2
parents/guardians)
o Mentally/Physically Handicapped Patients- 1 healthy unique caregiver/family member per patient
o Critically Ill Patient / End of Life Care – 1 healthy unique spouse/family member
*Unique visitor means the visitor cannot be changed/rotated/ substituted & MUST BE ASYMPTOMATIC*
* Visitors may or may not be able to wait in waiting areas due to social distancing limitations. Visitor should
leave contact information if waiting in vehicle*
*No minors (under the age of 18) allowed for visitation*
**All patients and visitors will be screened daily. Any approved visitors must be asymptomatic and wear a
mask at all times. To conserve supplies, visitors must bring a mask from home.
The Entrances listed below have staffed screeners available to screen all visitors, patients, and employees:
 ER entrance is open 24 hours a day
 Main lobby is open between 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
