According to reports, two 10-year-olds were involved in an accidental shooting at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 9. The incident occurred on Quail Loop Street, just south of Ville Platte.
While playing a game, one of the boys grabbed a weapon not knowing it was loaded. The other boy was shot and taken to a nearby hospital.
