Turkey Creek Police report list recent arrests

From September 29th to November 20th, 2022, the following incidents took place in the jurisdiction of the Village of Turkey Creek.

On September 29th, one stolen AR-15 was recovered and returned to the investigating agency.

On October 8th, while officers were patrolling Saddler St., KENNY CLARK was spotted in his front yard. The officer knew there was an active warrant for Mr. Clark and executed it after verifying it was still active. Mr. Clark was arrested for the following charges:

BOND SET AT $14,000 by Judge Chuck West.

On October 23rd, officers responded to a call in reference to a runaway juvenile which led to the child being located and returned home.

On October 29th, a warrant was issued for JOSHUA THIELS of Turkey Creek. While Mr. Thiels was visiting a local store, witnesses recalled Thiels speaking to himself and becoming angry. Thiels then threatened to kill customers, employees, and himself. Thiels is being charged with the following:

BOND SET AT $2,500 by Judge Marcus Fontenot---- Warrant executed on November 3rd, 2022.

On November 8th, CALEB D. SMITH was stopped for speed violations. During the stop, officers located marijuana and other drug paraphernalia. Smith was charged with the following:
1 Count of 40:966 POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA. —(Misdemeanor)
1 Count of 40:1023 POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA. —(Misdemeanor)

On November 11th, CODY STUTES was stopped for equipment violations. During the stop, officers located marijuana and other drug paraphernalia. Stutes was charged with the following:
1 Count of 40:966 POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA. —(Misdemeanor)
1 Count of 40:1023 POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA. —(Misdemeanor)

On November 12th, JAMES C. BISHOP was stopped for speed violations. During the stop, officers located marijuana and other drug paraphernalia. Bishop was charged with the following:
1 Count of 40:966 POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA. —(Misdemeanor)
1 Count of 40:1023 POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA. —(Misdemeanor)

On November 13th, JOHN T. FONTENOT was stopped for speeding violations. During the stop, officers located drug paraphernalia. Fontenot was charged with the following:
1 Count of 40:1023 POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA. —(Misdemeanor)
On November 15th, SARANINE E. CROOKS was stopped for equipment violations. During the stop, officers located marijuana and other drug paraphernalia. Crooks was charged with the following:
1 Count of 40:966 POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA. —(Misdemeanor)
1 Count of 40:1023 POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA. —(Misdemeanor)
1 Count of 14:91.13 ILLEGAL USE OF CDS IN THE PRESENTS OF A JUVENILE. —(Felony)

On November 17th, STEPHANIE M. DAVIS was stopped for equipment violations. During the stop, officers located a clear bulb pipe with a white substance inside that was presumed to be methamphetamines. Davis was charged with the following:
1 Count of 40:1023 POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA. —(Misdemeanor)

On November 17th, CODY I. USAND was stopped for equipment violations. During the stop, officers located marijuana and other drug paraphernalia. Usand was charged with the following:
1 Count of 40:966 POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA. —(Misdemeanor)
1 Count of 40:1023 POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA. —(Misdemeanor)

On November 18th, LACEY N. LATIOLAIS and KADON JL. VEILLON was stopped for speeding violations. During the stop, officers located marijuana, prescription medication, and other drug paraphernalia.
Latiolais was charged with the following:
1 Count of 40:966 POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA. —(Misdemeanor)
1 Count of 40:1023 POSSESSION OF LEGEND DRUG. —(Misdemeanor)
Veillon was charged with the following:
1 Count of 40:966 POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA. —(Misdemeanor)
1 Count of 40:1023 POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA. —(Misdemeanor)

On November 20th, BRANDON A. FREEMAN was stopped for equipment violations. During the stop, officers located marijuana in excess of 14 grams, prescription medication and other drug paraphernalia. Freeman was charged with the following:
1 Count of 40:966 POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE. —(Felony)
1 Count of 40:1023 POSSESSION OF LEGEND DRUG WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE.. —(Felony)
1 Count of 40:1023 POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA. —(Misdemeanor)
BOND SET AT $10,000 by Judge Marcus Fontenot.

ALL SUSPECTS ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.
