Turkey Creek police hits the streets to prevent crime

Turkey Creek Police Department has been busy this past couple weeks
hitting the streets to prevent crime. On June 3 rd 2021 after a traffic
infraction it was learned that Juanita smith of Mamou was in
possession of Marijuana and was released on a citation. On June 9 th
Haley Hudson of Turkey Creek was found in possession of synthetic
Marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Haley was released on a citation. On
June 11 th Brandon Messer of Lake Cove was stopped for a minor traffic
violation where it was learned that he had an outstanding warrant for
his arrest to which he was placed into custody and transported to the
Evangeline Parish jail for booking. Also on June 11 th Toby Ware of Pine

Prairie was stopped for a minor traffic violation where after the stop
and a road side interview was conducted Toby was ultimately arrested
for DWI 3 rd offense. On June 13 th Officers with the Turkey Creek Police
Department conducted a stop on Cemetery Rd. where it was learned
that the passenger Joseph Messer had an outstanding warrant for his
arrest. Joseph was placed into custody and transported to the
Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for booking.

Turkey Creek Police Department is continuously striving to make Turkey
