VP resident claims her chickens are killed by pack of dogs

A Ville Platte resident, living on the 300 block of North Coreil Street, claims a pack of stray dogs killed almost all of her chickens.
Sheri Bertrand alleges the canines entered her backyard and broke into the chicken coop on the morning of Wednesday, July 23.
According to reports, the door of the coop was ripped off and chewed through.
