This is Sheriff Charles R. Guillory for the Evangeline Parish Crimestoppers.
Law Enforcement relies on the public to help solve crimes. Many times the community will give tips leading to an arrest .
Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for Brandon Mack King, Date of Birth 02/05/1983. He is currently wanted for three Failure to Appear on various misdemeanor criminal offenses and one felony Possession of a Schedule II.
More importantly on 3-19-26 a search warrant was executed at 1445 Lake Cove Rd, Ville Platte.
Upon entering the residence King was found in a bedroom with Schedule II narcotics in his possession along with additional Schedule II found in a butt stock of a 22 file.
Another weapon was also seized while officers continued to search the residence for more illegal narcotics. The suspect Brandon King was detained but managed to escape the officers’ custody and ran into the woods.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $1000 leading to the arrest and conviction of King.
