The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons:
•Kayla Marie McClelland, 41, Basile, was arrested March 23, 2026, for domestic abuse battery and simple battery of the infirm. McClelland remains incarcerated on no bond.
