The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons:
• Nelson James Tezeno, 66, Ville Platte, was arrested October 22, 2025, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for court. Tezeno was released on no bond.
