The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons:
• Robert Handy, 63, Lafayette, was arrested August 1, 2025, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for probation violation. Handy remains incarcerated on no bond.
