The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons:
• Anthony G. Fontenot, 58, Mamou, was arrested May 29, 2025, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for simple battery and criminal trespass. Fontenot was released on a $750.00 bond.
