The Evangeline Parish Sheriff Department’s Criminal Patrol Unit, conducted a traffic stop on June 14th
2021. The agents made contact with the driver and advised him of the reason for the stop. The agents
conducted an interview with the driver and located narcotics.

On the 16th of June 2021 Criminal Patrol Deputies conducted a traffic stop on car for a traffic infraction.
Agents made contact with the occupants, and became suspicious with the behavior of the driver.
Deputies then conducted an interview and were granted permission to search the car.

On the 17th of June 2021 Deputies stopped a car for a traffic infraction, upon the deputies making
contact with the driver they saw marijuana in plain view. They then conducted a probable cause search
of the car and located narcotics and a handgun. This led to the following action.
