Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office releases the following:
On the 3rd of September 2021 the Evangeline Parish Sheriffs Departments Narcotics Unit, on a
residence located at 614 Huey P Long Street Ville Platte. When agents entered the residence, they
located narcotics and U S currency. This led to the following arrest.

He was charged with
Possession with intent to distribute Marijuana
Possession with intent to distribute PCP
Also, on the 3 rd of September 2021 the Evangeline Parish Sheriff Department, was conducting a Driver
Impairment check point om the Opelousas Road. While deputies were conducting the check point, they
located narcotics in several vehicles. This led to the following actions.

He was cited for Possession of Marijuana

3310 Loreauville Road
New Iberia, LA.
B/M Age 25
He was charged with possession of a stolen firearm
He was cited for possession of Marijuana
Stephen Earl Cook
1315 Donnie Street
Opelousas, LA.
B/M Age 42
He was charged with Possession of Cocaine
He was cited for Possession of Marijuana
