The luck of the Irish has struck in Ville Platte as two winning powerball tickets were sold at two different locations in the parish seat of Evangeline.
One unclaimed winning ticket was sold at Murphy USA on E. Lasalle Street. According to a local news outlet, powerball officials reported it was a $50,000 ticket. The other winning ticket came from Food Mart, located at 200 E. Main Street.
Winning numbers for the ticket sold on Saturday were 30, 34, 39, 53 and 67, and Powerball 11, while winning numbers for the ticket sold on Wednesday, March 13, were 18, 36, 45, 47 and 69, and the Powerball 14.
