Rotary Secretary Renee Brown welcomed Alisha Arvie, community outreach coordinator with St. Landry/Evangeline CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate), as the guest speaker for the November 16, meeting of the Ville Platte Rotary Club. Arvie stated her job is to help recruit volunteers to assist children placed in foster care, ranging in age from newborn to 18 (when they age out of foster care)…
