Sacred Heart School sends students to FBLA Nationals

Ten students from Sacred Heart School placed in the top 5 at the Junior High School Future Business Leaders of America State Convention with a pair qualifying to go on to the National Convention this summer.
The junior high students are as follows:
Emma Manuel placed 5th in Introduction to Business Communication.
Cole Anthony Fontenot placed 4th in Introduction to Computer Science & Coding.
Sam Fontenot placed 5th, Ellis Shipp placed 3rd, and Gabe Courville placed 2nd in Multimedia and Website Development.
Sam Walker placed 2nd in Elevator Speech.
Gracie McCauley, Emma Pitre, and Gracelyn Soileau placed 1st in Community Service Project, qualifying for Nations.
Gabe Fontenot placed 1st in Introduction to Parliamentary Procedure, qualifying for Nationals.
The junior high chapter also placed first for largest middle-level chapter membership.
In the high school division, a dozen Trojans qualified at State FBLA for nationals that will be held in Baltimore, Md. These students are as follows:
Broadcast Journalism: 4th place Claudia Miller and Katherine Brown.
Digital Video Production: 8th place Jack LaHaye, Evan Veillon and Christian Duplechin.
Healthcare Administration: 10th place Samuel Gil.
Impromptu Speaking: 1st place Gabrielle Fontenot qualifying for Nationals.
Intro to Information Communication: 8th place Elise Mire, Maria LaHaye and Alexandra Perron.
Intro to Information Technology: 3rd place Samuel Gil qualifying for Nationals.
Marketing: 2nd place Callie Pitre, Darrelyn Lachney and Lucas Kincannon qualifying for Nationals.
Networking Concepts: 5th place Jacob Soileau.
Public Service Announcements: 2nd place Alyson Fontenot and Hallie Daire qualifying for Nationals.
Sales Presentation: 9th place Karina Parks.
Social Media Campaign: 2nd place Payton Floyed and Anne-Alyse Soileau qualifying for Nationals.
Parliamentary Procedures: 1st place Gabrielle Fontenot, Kylie LeBas, Natalie LeBas and Julianne Reed qualifying for Nationals.
The high school chapter ranked third in largest chapter membership and placed seventh for the Louisiana Foundation Award.
Natalie LeBas came out 8th for Ms. FBL, and Gabrielle Fontenot was elected as State Secretary for the 2018-2019 school year.
