Mr. Grinnell, Miss Elliott plan October 26 nuptials

Dr. and Mrs. Kirk Elliott of Grand Coteau are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jacqueline Rose Elliott, to Barry Alexander Grinnell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Grinnell of Bush.
The bride-elect’s mother is the former Lynette Reed of Ville Platte.
Miss Elliott is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Reed of Ville Platte, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Elliott of Pineville, and Ms. Becky Elliott of Woodworth.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Teurlings Catholic High School and received her bachelor of science degree in advertising from Louisiana State University. She went on to receive her master’s degree in advertising from the University of Texas in Austin and is currently employed as a junior art director with 9th Wonder Agency.
The groom-elect’s mother is the former Lora Lavinghouse of Mandeville.
Mr. Grinnell is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Grinnell, the late Mrs. Colelene Lavinghouse Osigian, and the late Mr. Robert Lavinghouse Sr. all of Mandeville.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Covington High School and McNeese State University and is currently employed as a sales representative with International Paper.
The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, October 26, during a 5:30 p.m. ceremony at The Victorian Plantation in Broussard.
