The engagement of Miss Makayla Childers, daughter of Kimberly Fontenot of Ville Platte and Matthew Childers of Bayou Chicot, to Mr. Gage Dibble, the son of Cyndi and Michael Dibble of Fayetteville, N.C., has been announced by their parents.
The couple will exchange wedding vows Tuesday, January 15, 2019.
Miss Childrers’ mother is the former Kimberly Corona of Ville Platte. She is the granddaughter of Brenda and Johnny Deshotel of Ville Platte, Stephanie McIntosh of Bayou Chicot, and Michael Childers of Houston, Texas.
Mr. Dibble’s mother is the former Cyndi Ladesma of Fayetteville, N.C. He is the grandson of Arthur and Sun Ladesma.
Mr. Dibble is a graduate of Jack Britt High School.
