The 38th annual Boggy Bayou Pageant was held Saturday, April 29, at the Pine Prairie High School gym. Winners and runners-up were announced as follows:
Junior Miss: Harlie Richard, daughter of Michael and Kayla Semien of Iowa, was crowned Junior Miss Boggy Bayou. Rounding out her court were Karoline Thibodeaux, daughter of Tyson and Kristen Thibodeaux of Arnaudville, first alternate; and Ava Trahan, daughter of Jeremy and Donna Trahan of Jennings, second alternate.
Teen Miss: Chloe Childers, daughter of Jennifer Brook Vidrine of Grand Prairie, captured the Teen Miss Boggy Bayou title. Also serving as members of the Teen Miss Boggy Bayou court were Jaqueline LeBleu, daughter of Joseph and Heidi LeBleu of Basile, first alternate; and Bailey Marcantel, daughter of Emily Tackett and Kyle Marcantel of Ville Platte, second alternate.
Miss: Faith Billiot, daughter of Doug and Cheryl Billiot of Sulphur, was crowned Miss Boggy Bayou. Rounding out her court were Emily Miller, daughter of Gary and Teresa Miller of Robeline, first alternate; and Gabby Harris, daughter of Bridgette Hines and Robert Harris of Westlake, second alternate.
Ms.: Jackie Bergeron, daughter of Lowell Bergeron of Sulphur and the late Fae Bergeron, captured the Ms. Boggy Bayou title. Runners up to the new Ms. queen were Kristi Arrant, first alternate; and Madison Labit of Lake Charles, second alternate.
