The beginning of a new year often makes us reflect on the one that has gone by. We are always planning for the next week, month and year. It is only natural to think about what works and how to make things even better. As we forge ahead, we want to offer more variety to our programs. Attending meetings with other activity professionals is one way to share ideas and experiences to make the activity calendar most useful and ever changing with the likes of the residents each year.
A basic foundation of recreation is to be engaged in leisure pursuits that enhance a sense of well being. It makes all individuals feel better, have a better outlook and also boost the immune system.
We encourage our residents to attend all group activities, but respect their decision if they choose not to. They are all assisted to and from activities of their choice.
