Our “Adopt a Resident for Christmas” program is in place. We have had great support from our community, organizations, schools, church members and volunteers in past years. We encourage everyone who would like to participate in gift giving to call the facility and ask for the activity department. We will help you choose a resident, give sizes for them or give general ideas of what they need. You may take one resident or more. The deadline to turn in the gift is December 10. Our residents are very important to us and we want to make Christmas special for them. Please call the facility for more information.
The facility beauticians visit on Wednesdays; Mondays are for hair washing and manicures; and resident shopping is done weekly.
The staff of Heritage Manor sends get-well wishes to all of our loved ones in the hospital.
The staff of Heritage Manor welcomes Roylie Guillory, Mary Chapman and Charles Chelette to the facility.
Activities this week include bingo sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, exercise, mass, snack wagon, pokeno, manicures, bedside rosary, beauty shop, parachute fun, arts and crafts, jingo and resident council meeting.
This week, we thank the Knights of Columbus, Ardoin Funeral Home, Louisiana Hospice and Palliative Care, and Evangeline Home Health for the bingo donations.
