2019 Boggy Bayou Festival youth royalty crowned

New queens and kings were selected on Saturday, March 30, at the 2019 Boggy Bayou Youth Pageant. They will be presented at the Queen’s Pageant set for April 6, during the 35th Annual Boggy Bayou Festival in Pine Prairie.
Capturing the Baby Mr. Boggy Bayou title for 2019 was Kayson Cortina, the eight-month-old son of Chloe Fuselier. He also won the prettist eyes award. First runner-up to the baby king was Dex Taylor Hebert who also won director’s choice and best fashion award; while second runner-up was Weston Chaisson who also won the photogenic award.
The Baby Miss Boggy Bayou crown was awarded to Blaiklee Fay Barzare, the six-month-old daughter of Dara and Kevin Barzare of Pineville. Placing as first runner-up was Averie Perkins who also won director’s choice and best fashion awards. Second runner-up in this division was Emberlyn Rose Manuel. Photogenic and director’s choice award winner was Audrey Phillips, and the prettiest hair award winner was Gracie Hebert.
The Toddler Mister Boggy Bayou crown was awarded to Amari Scotto DiCarlo Hayes, the four-year-old son of Declir Hayes of Lafayette. He also won most photogenic and prettiest hair. First runner-up was Cohen Lex Fontenot, and second runner-up was Walker Paul Johnson who also won prettiest eyes and best fashion.
The Toddler Miss Boggy Bayou crown was awarded to Lillian Beth Bordelon, the 18-month-old daughter of Paige and Luc Bordelon of Bayou Chicot. First runner-up was Zoey King who also won prettiest hair, second runner-up was Elliott Moreau who also won prettiest eyes, photogenic and director’s choice winner was Talia Cole, and best fashion winner was Autymn Murphy.
The Mini Miss Boggy Bayou crown was awarded to Alirrah Nicole Tezeno, the two-year-old daughter of Joshua and Belva Tezeno of Bayou Chicot. She also won prettiest eyes. First runner-up was Jolie Claire Deville who also won best fashion, second runner-up was Averie Essie James, and director’s choice and prettiest eyes was Emma Grace Stelly.
The Tiny Miss Boggy Bayou crown was awarded to Isabella Denise Wiseman, the three-year-old daughter of Curtis and Sheranda Wiseman of Pineville. She also won most photogenic and prettiest eyes. First runner-up was Amelia Wall who also won director’s choice and prettiest hair, and second runner-up was Adelynn Renee Crader who also won best fashion.
Olivia Jayde Hazelton, the six-year-old daughter of Jason and Lynette Hazelton of Ville Platte, was crowned Petite Miss. Boggy Bayou for 2019 and won most photogenic. Emma Nicole Andrus was named first runner-up and as also named director’s choice and best fashion, and Ava Grace Willis was second runner-up and won prettiest eyes. Prettiest hair award went to Rae’Lynn Beasley.
Layla Faith Mulligan, the seven-year-old daughter of Kayla and Russell McElfresh of Lake Charles, was crowned Little Miss Boggy Bayou. Placing as first runners-up was Kamryn Jayde Hebert, second runner-up was Skylar Alyce’ Chalmers who also won most photogenic and director’s choice. Breonia Ann Messer won prettiest eyes, and Alayah Robinson won prettiest hair and best fashion.
Winning the Deb Miss Boggy Bayou crown for 2019 was Jocelyn Marie Chalmers, the nine-year-old daughter of Jennie and Christopher Chalmers of Geismar. Placing as the first runner-up was Rylee Clark who also won most photogenic, and second runner-up was Abigail Lynette Hazelton who won director’s choice. Nelle Rose Redmond won prettiest eyes, and Meadow Monier won prettiest hair and best fashion.
Alexis Jaden Bordelon, the 11-year-old daughter of Heather and Jade Bordelon of Ville Platte, captured the Junior Miss Boggy Bayou crown for 2019 as well as winning prettiest eyes, prettiest hair, and best fashion. First runner-up was Chalie Soileau who also won most photogenic, second runner-up was Londyn Grace Coleman, and director’s choice award winner was Victoria Chaddrick.
Capturing the Teen Miss title for 2019 was Gabbie Lynn Dardeau, the 14-year-old daughter of Blaze and Kayle Charpentier and Steve Dardeau of Eunice. She also won most photogenic. First runner-up was Gracie Marie Couvillion who also won prettiest eyes, and the second runner-up award went to Aubrey Claire Fuselier who also won director’s choice and best fashion. Prettiest hair winner was Torie Angelle Fontenot.
