The engagement of Miss Ainsley Nicole Veillon to Mr. Nicholas Troy Lejeune, the son of Tina and Thomas Fontenot of Ville Platte and the late Troy Lejeune, has been announced by her parents, Michael II and Shea Veillon of Ville Platte.
The couple will exchange wedding vows Saturday, September 24, during a 6:30 p.m. ceremony at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte.
Miss Veillon’s mother is the former Shea Dupre of Ville Platte. She is the granddaughter of Craig and Laurie Dupre, Gwen Fontenot, Sherrie Veillon and the late Michael Veillon.
A 2017 graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Ville Platte, she received an Associate of Science degree in nursing from LSUA in 2021. She is currently employed as a registered nurse in oncology/urology with Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, while pursuing her Bachelor’s degree. She plans to go back to school to become a nurse practitioner and eventually work as a neonatal nurse practitioner.
Mr. Lejeune’s mother is the former Tina Lafleur of Ville Platte. He is the grandson of Charles and Julia Lafleur and the late Rolance and Theotis Lejeune.
A 2018 graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Ville Platte, he received a degree in instrumentation and electrical from CLTCC in Alexandria. He is currently employed as an electrician with Roy O. Martin in Oakdale.
Miss Veillon and Mr. Lejeune celebrated their engagement on December 11, 2021, with all of their family and friends at the home of Alex and Jessie Miller in Ville Platte.
