Mr. David, Miss Mouton united in holy matrimony

St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Baton Rouge provided the setting for a lovely 6:30 p.m. ceremony uniting Miss Lindsey Elizabeth Mouton and Mr. John Michael David in holy matrimony with Father Trey Nelson officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin P. Mouton of Baton Rouge. The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Biff J. David of Ville Platte.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was radiant in a Lola Rose gown of stunning weighted satin crepe. The soft white gown was accented with a draped neckline and low back. The bride wore a waterfall veil in a beautiful classic chapel style accented with a subtle trim of delicate ivory beaded waves.
The bride wore a solitary diamond necklace from her paternal grandmother and a pearl Rinaldo bracelet from her godmother.
The bride carried a bouquet of white peonies, white and blue roses, white hydrangeas, white delphiniums, soft peach stock, and soft peach sweetheart roses. Entwined in the bouquet were a blue rosary belonging to her maternal grandmother. The personalized rosary featured the names of the bride’s family embossed on each decade of the rosary. The bride also carried a lace handkerchief from Italy belonging to her paternal grandmother entwined in the bouquet.
Morgan Belello of Baton Rouge served as matron of honor for the special occasion and Sophia Mengarelli of Opelousas and Morgan Prejean of Baton Rouge served as maids of honor. They each wore various style gowns of blush-colored satin or crepe. They carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet and wore personalized crystal earrings.
Bridesmaids were Madison Bennett, Olivia Fabacher, Kellie Gotanglo, Caroline Holloway, Julie McConnell, Shelbi Mengarelli and Katie Trahan. They each wore various style gowns of blush-colored satin or crepe. They carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet and wore personalized crystal earrings.
Steven J. David of Breaux Bridge served as best man for the evening ceremony.
Groomsmen were Alex Mouton, Brennan Mouton, Drew David, Ian David, Hunter David, Collin Barnes, Kyle Lachney, Nick Bertrand and Daniel Enicke.
Ushers were Stewart Schexnayder, Ben Bertrand, Eddie Ortego and Jacob Aguillard.
Eliza McConnell, Gabrielle Thevenet and Celia Mae Trahan served as flower girls, while Percy David and Henry McConnell served as ring bearers.
For her daughter’s special day, the bride’s mother wore a light blue ruffle v-neck gown. The groom’s mother selected a navy off the shoulder, floral sleeve evening gown of crepe. They each wore accessories of pearl and gold.
A reception followed at the Country Club of Louisiana in Baton Rouge. The location was beautifully decorated with floral arrangements of greenery and white and blush-colored roses, peonies and hydrangeas draping the entrance to the ballroom. The tables were decorated with candles surrounded by greenery and floral arrangements of roses, peonies and hydrangeas.
Following a wedding trip to Punta Cana Resort in the Dominican Republic, the couple has made their home in Lafayette.
